I'm kinda jealous of Mormons now that they have made their Christus spiritual kitsch. What do I have?

I can't take this advice.

"Don’t get caught in the kitsch trap. “Trust your vibe, maaan.” "

I want an idol, lucky rabbit's foot, crystal, something@!

I'm thinking about one of these.

(Or did I go over the no-politics line?)

It is vaguely political, caffiend, but given that's she's never held elective office, has a snowflake's chance in hell of getting the nomination, and is a complete loon, I'll give you this one.

Didn't Joju run for POTUS?

Nice choice! Did you read the comments? Satisfied buyers are testifying how it brought them luck. Seriously. You need four of them.

Yes, the comments were funny!

One guy said it improved his golf game, and another said it stopped his/her craving to buy everything in sight (including talismans).

I kind of like the idea of burning green "money candles", though.

No, I'm good without this. It didn't help Joseph Smith, when he fell out of the window, dead.

To this day, TBMs believe Joseph would have survived if he had worn his magic underwear.

You've probably seen the fish shaped bumper stickers with "Jesus" inside the fish. I once had a fish shaped bumper sticker with "Darwin" inside the fish & the fish was sprouting legs.
Definitely kitschy but it did help as my attitude towards Mormonism was 'evolving'.

Holy Joe's penchant for all things weird, occult and wonderful is typified by his acquisition of a special chain-slung medallion called Jupiter.

For a life's duration, he kept it close. He'd learned the thing would protect him and secure to him "the love of women and men."

What's not to love with a bauble like that?

It was there in his pocket when Masons broke his credulous neck.

Every once in a while, my three-year-old grandchild will present me with a rock. I keep these in a wooden bowl, and they are very zen, because they are old, and part of the Earth, and were given to me with love. Hey, we all have a right to worship whatever we may. These stones don't glow, or show words, but maybe I need to "charge" them, like the Jupiter talisman.

That is so sweet exminion. Those are true treasures.

Elder Berry, you don't need any other kitsch - You have a body in the window seat!

Talismans are about as old as Humankind. Adam himself may have pocketed a pretty rock for luck. The act of setting something apart from everything else (the sacred & the profane) seems bred in the bone.

I like Bob Costa’s talisman, a Mickey Mantle rookie card he keeps in his wallet.

I just saw another bag of balls in the bottom drawer of my dresser that I need to put in my cedar chest. I have saved certain things from each dog and they will be buried with me. I go out and look for a ball every year on the day my ball-loving dog died and I usually always find one. I bought him a new ball every time I went to the store. Just little ones in the coin machines. I have pictures of them all over the house. My daughter says I've replaced having little children around with my dogs. I worship my dogs, definitely. They are what have made it possible to keep going many times in my life.
