It was bound to happen sooner or later -- the local Kingdom Hall has a Pokémon Go gym, and I play there semi-regularly. Well, today some people were leaving the Kingdom Hall while I sat there in the parking lot & one approached me.

I haven't seen any of their literature in decades, aside from a memorial invitation a few years ago, so I accepted the guy's tract.

Anyway, wanted to share this part, for those generally interested in cult recruitment: "Can we really believe what the Bible says? Yes, for at least three reasons:
*Satan's rulership is doomed.
*God has chosen Jesus Christ to rule the world.
*God cannot lie." (Each bullet point followed by a few sentences.)

None of those bear even indirectly on the believability of the Bible, of course. It's like they're not even trying. Or maybe they're deliberately focusing on potential converts who can't think logically?

I recently discussed the accuracy and truth of the bible with my JW mother. Her responses boiled down to, the bible is true because it says so in the bible.

I was convinced.

The JW Bible is a bit different to everyone else's.
