Ron Lafferty, convicted of murder and sentenced to death for killing his sister-in-law and her baby because of her opposition to polygamy, has died of natural causes.

Generations of my family have slept in the children's size bed that Ron's mom gave to my mom after their kids grew out of it. They were friends long ago. I was the last in my immediate family to use it, both my kids used it, and I handed it down to one of my nieces for her kids.
