Thanks - totally off topic. I had never heard of him. Will check out more. I am currently playing in Billy Elliot musical in a small pit orchestra. Tenor, alto and bass clarinet. Fun to listen to new music.

I didn't know that there was a musical of "Billy Elliott!"

I LOVED the movie version of "Billy Elliott." Where do you find the musical version? Wait for a local community theater to come out with it??

The final scene is just as electric in the musical version as in the movie version! This is one of the most riveting stories I have ever seen - LOVE it!!

Eric K is a musician? I work as MD in musical theatre.

Maybe he'll like this too. I got tired of the vapid lyric of 'The Prayer' so I rewrote the whole thing to be a song that believers and unbelievers can sing together. It's a secular prayer.

Wow. I just play in community theater mostly and have my own little jazz group and fill in with other groups such as last night. I have played with Chattanooga Symphony members for 6 performances of a Christmas Carol last year at a local university, but nothing at your level. Really nice. Very talented.
