The Utah Department of Health created Utah-themed, suggestive condom packaging as part of an HIV awareness campaign.

Now they will all be destroyed, health officials say.

“SL, UT” and other phrases such as “UINTAH sex?” and “Explore Utah’s caves” were a few of the suggestive sayings on the state-themed wrappers. Now officials are working to recall more than 40,000 condoms — and dispose of them, according to The Salt Lake Tribune.

It sure makes sense to me that some East Asian countries where startup & labor costs are low will be exporting cheap condoms in all the flavors created by the Utah state government.

Part of the issue is that they were going to give away these questionable presents at taxpayers expense (without their moral approval) to young people. Thereby encouraging the exploration of promiscuity, and experimentation by the young and dumb. In Utah there is a tradition of resistance to sex education because as statistics shows the rate of illegitimate pregnancies increases when society is more open about sex education. Back in the 50s there were less out of wedlock pregnancies and fathers quickly married their baby mammas rather than face the social reprimands from the community. Then as the social revolutions of the 1960s came and the subsequent decades passed the numbers of illegitimate households sky rocketed. Right now at least 30% of kids (whites) are born to single mothers. And the rates are much higher for Hispanics and blacks.

Obviously sex-ed hasn't improved society.

look at other countries as well as your opinion(s) about what's happening in Utah, especially Scandinavian countries, England, France, etc. How about Canada, 'eh?
