Over-zealous ? Is there a correct amount of zealotry ?

As a teenager, I thought I'd found the correct amount of zealotry when it came to masturbation! It was juuussst right!

What was the correct amount in adulthood?

Whatever you can manage under the circumstances?

Notice the religions don't seem to make a point to follow the teachings in moderation. They teach that the more zealous one gets, the more God likes it.

Also, what's with the inconsistency over abortion? It's great when God kills fetuses, especially if you pray to command it? It's not OK if the dad was a rapist? This woman is needs to clue us in on the rules.

So, I guess abortion is OK if the fetus isn't going to be Christian? Considering I'm accused of being under the influence of Satan by types like her, it's hard to know if she means Rosemary's baby devils or people who they define as fallen to Satan.

People, this woman is in an advisory role in the USA GOVERNMENT (yeah, I know it is mostly for show only to indulge certain evangelical types, but still). This is not OK. Devil talk shows the world just how superstitious, credulous and backwards many are here. It's embarrassing.

Well, that means if they don't spontaneously miscarry as commanded, she has no power....or insufficient faith....not good for a "spiritual advisor" IMO.

And, doesn't this prayer amount to spontaneous abortion magically happening? I thought they said there was no good cause for any abortion including insect and rape, let alone not being married.
