I love how mormons twist things.

Assuming the artifacts are genuine. They are from around tye year 800 and of european make. 400 years after Moroni supposedly hid the plates. Hence no connection to the supposed nephites.

If the artifacts are a fraud then they prove nothing.

The church is as true as someone wants it to be, but you can’t use evidence to prove it because you’re sure to get better evidence shoved in your face that it isn’t.

Thank ghawd for testimonies!! Where would the church be without them!

Whenever there is proof that mormon church is true, you can almost hear the desperation in their voice.

As all intangible items have been weighing down their shelf and things they sense on a subconscious level that aren't right being done around them. They then turn to any circumstantial data around ancient history.

Anything to connect it to the past. To show they are relevant, but this usually ends up just showing even more how it is all a fraud when the true facts of the artifacts are finally revealed.
