I hope in 99 years we've come very very far from things like this.

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/us/1921-tulsa-race-massacre-mass-grave-found-in-search-for-victims/ar-BB1agAc6

Funny how if you baptize dead people its okay. Why go to all the trouble to try to do something for people who died almost 100 years ago right?

Dead lives matter. Don't let no religion claim your dead as theirs. The dead don't care but the audacity and religious impropriety is appalling to me.

Always like your energy, but I think you’re tone deaf here man. You stepped on your balls imo.

That is the risk with big ones.

+Elder Berry:
Why do you write
"Graves matter. Dead lives matter"

It makes it look like you don't take it seriously.

Because it is the right thing to do.

Mormon leaders do the wrong thing and even people here on RfM don't think the baptisms for the dead matter.

+Elder Berry:
The first thing is that when this Black lives matter thing started, a lot of people seemed to be trying to downplay the situation of the african-americans by saying all lives matter.
The african-americans felt hurt. They felt that racism is present in their society so they made the slogan Black lives matter, and they did protests.

The, there were a bunch of other slogans of the form “_____ lives matter”.
Why were people doing that? I wish I knew.
Perhaps they disregard african-americans.

“Because it is the right thing to do.”

==It is definitely the right thing to do. It is about respecting humans.
That Tulsa massacre thing is very ugly stuff. I didn’t know about it.

“Mormon leaders do the wrong thing and even people here on RfM don't think the baptisms for the dead matter.”

==I think someone said that one of them pretends to be the corpse and then he gets dipped in water. I heard that they baptise jews, christians, muslims, atheists and such.
Some people just don’t have common sense.

>>Mormon leaders do the wrong thing and even people here on RfM don't think the baptisms for the dead matter.

It matters to me. I've mentioned many times that the Mormons dead-dunked my great-grandmother and namesake. She was a lifelong Episcopalian who had all of her children baptized into the Episcopalian church. She had no connection to Mormonism that I can find. And yet somehow the Mormons got their hands on her. They also did inaccurate genealogy in documenting her birthdate, and I happen to care about such things.

Keep your hands off of my family! We've never had anything to do with the Mormons. It's extremely rude and disrespectful of them to do religious ceremonies on my family's behalf.
