Every spring, Harvard Radio schedules "orgy season," when they broadcast (available on streaming) extensive blocks of music, either by composer, genre, artist, or other unifying theme. Originally all classical, WHRB "orgies" may feature jazz, ethnic, Broadway, or contemporary music or artists.
It ALWAYS begins with "the Warhorse Orgy," hours of the most familar and beloved pieces from the classical repertoire. It begins with the William Tell Overture and concludes with Tchaikovsky's "1812."
Starting Saturday @ 5:00 PM Eastern.
