Looks like we have a new crop of grade schooler's posting here.

Rusty?

We are now referring to Nelson as Rusty?

Horrendous!

I much prefer the formality of Russell Milhous Nelson!

Perhaps we should be more formal.
"Heavenly Father's spokesman on the earth, he who holds all the Priesthood keys, even President Russell M. Nelson."

But that's kind of like repeating the full name of the church in every sentence, kind of cumbersome.

Damn.

I opened this thread because it has the same title as my upcoming autobiography…

"Looks like we have a new crop of grade schooler's posting here."

At least some of us *passed* our grade school English classes, unlike, say, you.

When you learn the difference between plural and possessive, and how to punctuate properly, then maybe you can lecture us.

Formally, Rusty the Revelator, the anti-mastubator, the polygamous agitator for righteousness.

Since you (re-)appeared here two years ago, otowndrone, you have posted 16 times. Of those, five have been denunciations of the participants here, who you assert are below your lofty standards.

You have called the board members lacking in intelligence, "shallow," "frivolous," "immature," "innacurate [sic]," "off topic," "immature" again, "incredibly stupid," and now "grade schoolers."

Meanwhile you have blessed us with your insights on such on-topic and substantial matters as Bachman Turner Overdrive, the Piano Guys, church basketball fights, and grocery store parking lots. You have done so, furthermore, with frequent misspellings and grammatical errors.

You're making this too easy, buddy.

We're just adults who haven't outgrown our inner child and sophomoric sense of humor.

You must be a lot if fun at parties. Especially after a few pineapple juice and sherbet ice cream punch drinks.

Otowndrone, you mean “Ole Rustbucket,” the guy with two wives?

I have no respect for the lds leaders whatsoever. Call me what you want. I could care less. I wear each badge with pride such as apostate, adulteress, stupid (as per last conference), and now grade schooler.

I'm just so glad to no longer be called MORMON. I left before Rusty decided to change them from mormons to that long term they want to be called now.

1. "Grade schoolers" is the proper plural form. An apostrophe-s indicates possessive, like "'Rusty' is a grade schooler's nickname for Russell M. Nelson." I know that grammatic rule despite attending public school in Idaho; what's your excuse?

2. I, like most posters on the board, am here because Mormonism is a cult that messes people up. I have no reason to be polite about it and I'm not here to impress you, otowndrone.

3. From what I can tell, any attempt to seem more "mature" will not measure up. If I stopped swearing almost every fucking post, called Rusty by his full name all the time, and avoided every O/T thread on here, you'd STILL call me immature as you drag the goalposts off the field and across the street.

4. I've had more than enough of trying to measure up to someone else's standards as a TBM, thank you very much. Comparing me to an elementary school student isn't going to make me want to live like that again, guy.

Yes, we've been doing that for many years now. Welcome to the board! And since we are trading insults, I am going to ditto what Ookami said about not using apostrophes for plurals. I always taught that to my 2nd graders. If you are going to insult people here, please endeavor to use proper punctuation to do so.

It's grade schoolers (plural,) not grade schooler's.
