Every major religion has come out and told its followers to get vaccinated, even Christian Scientists, yet, in my state, 3,891 State Employees have applied for religious exemptions.

The people I know who have applied for religious exemptions have done so based upon their beliefs about abortion, which they claim prevents them from getting vaccinated with a vaccine developed through testing on cells of aborted fetuses.
That seems like a bullshit excuse to me, since no aborted fetuses were used in developing any Covid tests except the Johnson and Johnson vaccine. So if that were really their primary concern they’d take one of the other ones, but they refuse, so they’re getting fired over something completely bogus.

I don’t get it. It’s group think at its worst.

They were all political satirists and skeptics. Twain was the original political satirist in a long line of them.

I was considering adding the insignia to my signature, maybe to cross the two t's at the end of my first name. It's sad in a way -though a relief in another - that I don't own it quite as I thought I did.
