Beloved and I celebrate 37 years of wedded bliss today. We'll be celebrating on the morrow, but that doesn't mean we won't raise a toast or two to our fine selves this evening!

Party On, Mates!

Timothy

Congrats Timothy!

I'm starting off with a Mythos beer (doing my part to help the Greek economy). It's surprisingly delicious. I recommend it as a starter beer to people new to drinking.

Timothy hate to question you but how can this be as your wife only looks like she has just hit 40, now?

Congrats to you both!

This evening I drunk a can of beer and accidentally drunk a bottle of mosel wine.

Party on and party well Mr and Mrs Timothy and everyone else at RFM! ;o))

I've got a lovely Penfolds Grange Shiraz that I picked up in Australia a few years ago, that's been patiently waiting to be savored.
I think tonight's the night. Grilling some steaks to go along with it. :)

I made a pitcher of Basil lemon drop Martinis.

Friends are coming over to help.

Basil leaves
Limoncello(I make my own)
Citrus vodka
Fresh squeezed lemon
Fresh squeezed key lime
Sanpelligrino lemon or grapefruit (they're both good)

Shake it all up with ice, strain it into a sugar rimmed martini glass. This also tastes great with fresh mint, or a touch of fresh lavender.

I can't believe she put up with you so long ;)

In my glass tonight I will have ice, crystal light lemonade powder, an ounce of vodka and club soda. Perfect for summer.

I'm about to enjoy a cool margarita cocktail in a salt rimmed glass with a fresh lime freshly picked from my backyard tree.

But I won't feel like a real woman until I've finished one.

How does the blonde compare in taste?

It's definitely lighter, both in taste and in body. I'd say it's worth a shot if you're interested!
