Guess what!?!?

Everything is what makes our lives worth living.

The worth of a soul is what makes life worth living.

Mormonism and its culture lies and devalues that worth.

I make all my own everything myself now. I didn't like the kind you have to buy.

A home made family culture beats the daylights out of the manufactured and packaged subculture from Salt Lake.

I like home cooked food. So why not a home cooked lifestyle?

Tell that to the people who are thinking of leaving the FLDS - the people who were born into it - for whom it is their culture, and the only culture they know.

What a terrible thing to lose their culture! </sarcasm>

Yes, that is a major problem.

The other thing is accepting living in the culture and feeling that one has everything to lose if something new is allowed into the closed mental world.

I seen it, people tear down everything new even if it is a ridiculous and unharmful thing.

For reasons that reflect poorly on me, I once owned a Members Only jacket.

I hope by admitting this, I will some day be able to move on...
