Mrs. Hela and I are meeting up with an old high school classmate of mine at a local watering hole this evening after work. This place has rotating taps of craft brew. So, I don't know what i'm having, but it will be a good pint or three.

How about y'all?

Thank you for remembering the Friday night drink thread, helamonster.

I am having cold brewed Japanese sencha/macha iced green tea this evening. It is darned, I mean one helluva cold brew.

It's easy to make.

And healthy too! :)

A&W Root Beer. I got a case of 12 cans yesterday for $2.50 at my local grocery store. I might go fix me a Root Beer float here in a little bit.

We landed a major client this week, so we just had "champagne Friday" at work.
Now I can't go home for at least an hour.
Feeling awfully good, though. :)

First, what we're eating: Butternut Squash Ravioli with Brown Butter Sage Sauce; and it goes very, very nicely with the St. Supery Sauvignon Blanc that we're drinking.

I was a good cook before I drank wine. Now I'm a GREAT cook! Wine was the missing ingredient, whether it's in the sauce or in my glass.
