Remember that old phrase that zinged people a few decades ago, concurrent with the 'sexual revolution'?

neo-cons were berating relaxed (sexual, at least) 'morals', stating over & over that morals, Right/Wrong, were Fixed in the Universe, Never to be compromised or negotiated?

Have you noticed that those who harp on others about their situational ethics more often than not practice their own situational ethics? Fixed morals and upstanding behavior are for lesser mortals, in the minds of the superior. And if they get caught with their pants down, well THEY deserve all kinds of forgiveness and understanding.
