I'm thinking about getting my hair cut like this:

Do you guys like the style? Any suggestions? Tips? I normally keep my hair shaved, but I've grown it out pretty long in the past year and I want to try something different. My hair is pretty blond and straight. Looks washed out/pale, so that's why I never grew it out.

A guy I work with wears his hair like that.

At first I thought it looked sort of dumb. Now I'm used to it and I think it looks good on him.
I guess that's how it is with style trends.

Might be a good look for you and your type of hair!

The good thing about hair is that it grows, and you can change out a cut pretty quick.

If you think it will look good on you, give it a try! There are a lot of men's hairstyles that look good. A hair style like this says you care about your appearance. If the cut doesn't for you, no worries, it'll grow out. If in doubt, try it out! The Boner.

I like the shaved part, but I like a shorter haircut on the top, like a flat top. Since it's shorter , you can put gel on it to stick it up too

Do whatever you want with your hair while you still have it. As you age it starts to migrate from upon top down to your nose, inside your ears and of course to your eyebrows.

I saw an asian woman employee with this haircut today at Costco, but I live in the Bay Area.

A lot of guys at the university where I teach are wearing their hair like that. Most of them also now wear skin tight clothing. That's one trend that I do not like.

Go for it! That style has gained popularity since the TV show 'Vikings' started a few years ago.

It would be even more interesting if you did that style, but with a braid down the back, like some do on the show.
