Good is right. This guy will be vilified by the LDS Inc. but he's doing what it takes. I hope his funding keeps up for his campaign.

Yes they do. Plus, if the church just paid property taxes on their temples, ward houses and office buildings (including temple square), Utah could fully fund education and health care.

The flow of money creates specific behavior in people. Without financial disclosure, the mormon church is just a Secret Combination.

As a country, we're pretty committed to avoiding taxation without representation. If you tax them, you also need to allow them full participation in the political process.

We have an American state that is, and always has been, a religious theocracy.

They currently do have full and affluent participation in the political process.

1. Which religion is the state religion? Where in our governing documents can we find the state religion identified?
2. Theocracies are led by the head of the state religion. Can you help me understand how our current or former presidents were priests or pontiffs of the state religion?
3. Can you provide me examples of where any church or religion has openly endorsed or funded a politician or their campaign? Why do our laws prohibit all tax-exempt religions from endorsing candidates if our government is a theocracy?
4. Can you let me know if you learned this in a school, and if so, what school? I've got a kid in college shopping for a graduate degree, and your school is a bit out of touch with reality.

It is not, I have not drank a beer, or any alcohol, in over 10 years.

If you had read a little closer, you might have possibly noticed i stated AN American state, not THE American state. Of course Utah is a thecracy.

Obviously Utah politicians are subject to rigorous Priesthood worthiness interviews, where LDS managements directs policy.

Openly being the key word. They are far too sinister for that.

Perhaps. There can be small pockets of protest in any theocracy.

Utah is a theocracy, and LDS Inc certainly carries a lot of clout in the federal government.

Too late. They already are performing the representation end of the equation and have been doing so for the decades spent on accumulating their wealth. Time to make them pay for their ill-gotten gains received from shaming and guilting the masses and ultimately personal lives by using political loop holes and bleeding the beast mentality.
