Anyone know what happened to the son of Steve Christiansen who talked at the exmormon conference around 2003 or 2004? He wasn't long off his mission and actually discovered the truth about his father's death when he saw a book about it at a member's home on his mission and asked if he could read it. He really didn't know many details. I think he knew his father had been murdered, but not anything about the church or Hinckley's involvement in the coverup about the docs. He left the church and said he could never look Hinckley in the eye after the church helped get Hoffman a plea deal and not be prosecuted.
I was most impressed with his mother who was still active in the church--having re-married and having more kids. But she accompanied him there and supported him and even said a few words. Not about the murders but about how she supported her kids in finding their own path.
It was Simmonds who first gave credence to Hofmann and access to the rare books etc. He was duped by Hofmann. His death, despite a large article in the Deseret News, was NOT a suicide.
My attempts to post a full explanation have been rejected because some word was not permitted. Contact me through the leaders for how to reach me. I am writing a book in which this is fully discussed.
