I read the 'blue book', and highly recommend it for just plain good sense and advice, as to how to live one's life.
However---check out the date of the blue book, as it was changed later to not be nearly as good as it was. Also, it was "sexist", as only written for men (not women). (Maybe this accounts for the rewrite.)
