Anthem AZ

Anybody here living in Anthem AZ?
I'm planning on going to their ward.
Just moved here.

Growing unspectacular retirement hub just north of Phx that's off the radar

I don't live there, and I don't want to live there.

As an Arizona resident, if I had my druthers I'd live 115 miles to the north in Flagstaff.

Both have milder temps than Phoenix

Red-rock Sedona has beautiful Oak Creek Canyon and small-town Prescott has a nostalgic town square.

I know nothing about the Mormon community in Anthem, but it does seem that there is a strong evangelical christian presence in the area. It is just my uninformed impression that Anthem is what the fictional "Stepford" would be like. It does not seem like Anthem has a lot of diversity.
