I'm wondering what overnight campouts are going to be like now that horny teenage girls will be camping out in tents right next to horny teenage boys while their scout leaders are sawing logs in their own tents in the middle of the night?

It could possibly be an opportunity for waiting spirit children in the preexistence to obtain human bodies.
When I was the age of Cub Scouts (8-10?) I didn't want to have a thing to do with girls!
Girls are already allowed in Explorer Scouts and some of the other programs for teens and older kids.
Not being in regular scouts (normally age 11-17 or so) I guess girls feel they're missing out on the leadership development and the Eagle Scout goal setting, and sometimes achieving?
Can't let young girls start thinking that they're actually capable of more than staying at home and taking care of the kids! Then they might actually challenge the patriarchy.
I made one comment expressing my personal thought that this was great, that girls can do whatever boys can do and boy howdy, you'd a thunk that I had started talking politics!
For some reason, this is a real hot button issue. I didn't think it was, in fact I thought "hey, yeah, if some young girl wants to learn those skills, who am I to say 'no' and people were accusing me of being on the left (since when is being supportive of young people a 'left' thing?), I was told that THIS is exactly why our country is going in the wrong direction.
