Caffeinated sodas are okay, but coffee and tea are not because the Word of Wisdom says "no hot drinks".

Hot chocolate is okay because "hot drinks" really means brewed drinks.

Iced coffee and iced tea are bad because, even though they are cold, they are brewed.

Herbal teas are okay even though they are brewed, because they have no caffeine.

It's all so logical now. Something that makes so much sense has to be true. Remember, don't google the health benefits of hot chocolate and coffee--that could get confusing.

I like how ghawd seemingly grows in knowledge at the same rate as humans.

Before you know it, AI will be found to have been presaged in the scrptures.

danr, you are a genius. I think I'll brew me a cup of black tea and drink to your logical braininess.
You didn't even get to the vegetarian part (No meat except in times of winter or famine) that is conveniently ignored, at every Mormon church banquette ever.

Growing up, I loved Postum but now it is all but disappeared, (except for the $13/jar crappy redesign they sell now in select stores).
Years ago when I was still true believing, I accidentally drank a sip of coffee thinking it was cocoa. I spit it out in disgust.
A few months ago, I decided to try my first intentional sip of coffee. Imagine my surprise when I found it delicious to the taste and very desirable. It brought me back to my old Postum days.

It has never made any sense.

Garbage in, garbage out.

The WOW is, was, and always has been, a control mechanism to cause the many to serve the few.
