Is it possible that God was ill-advised at the time of the revelation called The Word of Wisdom?

http://www.bbc.com/news/health-42081278

If He erred on this, what else could He have made poor calls on?

I was taught as a young Mormon that He was all-knowing and perfect. What's going on here?

No God had anything to do with Joseph Smith's word of wisdom.

Maybe people who drink three cups of coffee a day live longer because they don't take health advice from every con artist who comes down the pike, looking to pick their pockets.

Mormon god does seem to depend on getting his information from those who "go down, and then return and report," doesn't He?

That is what shocked me during the Endowment. God was always telling Jehovah and Michael to "return and report" like the Omniscient part of his brain isn't working that day and perhaps needs a cup of coffee to jump start it.

I was really shocked at that. Then didn't he send Peter James and John down as well and tell them to come back and clue him in?
What was he looking for? Color coded charts and graphs in young leather binders?

And those guys have still never owned up to their slip up about the coffee report and left poor God continuing to tell his prophets that it is evil like some fool.

No, God wasn't involved! As evidenced from the beginning, Master Liar/Charlatan jo smith jr. used God as some kind of credible reference to promote his 19th century CON for profit designed to dupe/eventually swindle human kind!

As some Mormon researchers have acknowledged over the years, joseph smith jr. uttered the Word of Wisdom BS at the very time the temperance movement was spreading like wildfire in the United States. The American Society for the Promotion of Temperance was founded in Boston in 1826. By 1833 well over a million Americans were members of thousands of local chapters of the organization, including one in Kirkland, Ohio, where false profit jo smith jr. lived at the time. A month before jo spewed forth his so-called, divinely inspired Word of Wisdom the local temperance society had managed to get the distillery in Kirtland, OH to close. Self-proclaimed profit jo smith jr. proclaiming to the world in 1833 that his word of wisdom was divinely inspired substantiates the notion/likelihood that creepy jo had gotten the idea to ban alcoholic drinks from copy cat temperance rhetoric - not divine revelation! smith's behavior here wreaks of fraud/opportunism on his part/casts significant doubt on his story! What else is new? As Always, tnurg (GRUNT)
