Why marry a wife is a mystery..

Why marry two wives is a bigamystery.

We were just talking about him today!

I'm sure he's been baptized mormon many times already and sealed to his three wives.

Add to the mix, Kathleen, that he was Jewish so would want nothing to do with that practice.

Come to think of it, one doesn't need to be Jewish to find baptism for the deceased (newly or otherwise,) reprehensible.

The Three Stooges were also Jewish. Many others who grace that hall of fame: Mel Brooks, Woody Allen, Sarah Silverstein, Sacha Cohen ...

Something about being Jewish and finding comedy through the pathos of life.

What famous Mormons are/were comedians? Honestly can't think of a single one. Besides the Osmonds during a stint of their early career. They weren't really that funny because they take themselves so seriously.

Every "prophet" and Q12 member ever.

They just didn't know it. Every utterance of theirs was comdey, but they took it seriously. Talk about being clueless...

one MORmON ASSpostHOLE / PRofit was such an ASS clown, that he got up in front of an LD$ Inc insider gathering to speak and opened with joke about having (spent) lots of money, then as he had control of literally tons of money (as considered in hundred dollar bills) he boasted with a straight face about how he had given 3 hundred dollar bills to a local charity. The particular money stack that the 3 hundred dollars had been taken from weighed over 33 tons. That was just one of many/several such money stacks that the ASS Clown had access to, from stealing from people in the name of Jesus.

"I remind you" that IF Jesus was going to incinerate anyone, THEN MORmON leaders should be toward the front of the line.

Groucho Marx: I'm not getting married again. I'm just going to find a woman I don't like and buy her a house.

“Something about being Jewish and finding comedy through the pathos of life.”

Lewis Black, Jerry Seinfeld. Maybe this goes way back. It might have saved their sanity while wandering in the desert. I can imagine a funny guy having Joshua and Moses rolling.

Tommy Monson stood out for trying to inject humor in his talks. I suspect his replacement might not have a funny bone.

They all seem very serious really.

When you get to be their age, humor is rolling out of bed in the morning.

Or being able to tell the doctor where it hurts.

Because it protects one's self. A legal marriage gives the spouse rights to their mutual stuff (investments, or house, or cars, etc.). Even a common law marriage can do this (if handled properly).

Without a will, the court and lawyers eat-up whatever money is in an estate when collecting their fees, while relatives may only get what's left.
