I'm in Casa Grande, AZ. and after today's trapshooting action I enjoyed 2 pints of Papago Brewing's Blood Orange Ale. OMG that hit the spot after a day in the sun punishing my shoulder. Might have to look for it in a bottle and take some home.
Anyone else enjoying their midweek adult bevies?

Just curious, big guy, did you bring a shotgun across the border, and if so, is it complicated? Or does one simply not mention it?

Is it against the law to bring a shotgun across the border?

I'm curious... Try that from the US into Mexico and have it found, and your butt is in a Mexican jail!

I never messed with that rule.

EOD, you apply for an ATF form 6A. On it you list the gun(s) you are importing into the US and what ammunition (if any) you are also importing for sporting purposes. You fax in 2 copies and if approved the ATF office in W. Virginia emails the signed form back as an PDF. Takes 3-4 weeks. Good for 1 year from the approval date. No cost. It's also advisable to have an invitation letter from the organization under who's auspices you are competing and an invitation letter from a gun club you will be attending. A lot of rigmarole but not a big deal.
I know guys who have taken shotguns into Mexico and after getting their paperwork in order it was not a big deal either.

I'm not drinking anything particularly "adult" (instant coffee in cold milk with a few drops of liquid stevia...carrot juice...distilled water)...but I am REALLY interested in the Arizona/Papago intersection.

Is the Blood Orange Ale a product of the Papago tribe?

Hope you're enjoying your trip, Ron. It sounds like you are!

A local brewery here in San Diego makes a *killer* blood orange ale. It's the only brew I regularly keep in my fridge. Really hits the spot :)

I am becoming an addict of blood orange ales....we have a craft brewery in Medicine Hat Alberta that makes one under the Hell's Basement name. Yummy.
