I stumbled across some of the posts from this family.

Some clues that they were LDS would pop up here and there. When I played this one it removes all doubt about their religion.

They do seem happy and I wish them well.

I'm glad they're seemingly happy, but this kind of stuff smacks of narcissism to me. It kind of turns my stomach.

I guess I'm just a cranky old bat.

Browse through the rest of their channel. It gets worse. America's Got Talent auditions, Christmas decorations dance parties. The human burrito toss. Driving lessons. A water spitting challenge. Making a commercial with an apparent celeb named Peyton Manning. Any excuse is valid to beg for attention.

There's a few (boring) clips with a certain Luke, who was part of the family for a few months. No idea about his backstory, but the idea that a middle-class white boy moves in with a middle-class black family is just so so so touching. Also, there may be a lot of fakery in their clips, but the love between them is real.

Another shiny happy family that needs the whole world to confirm that they are actually happy.

This reminds me of a hilarious skit I once saw (in Dutch). It showed a happy family (mom and four kids) smiling into the camera, saying "Hi daddy! This year, for your fortieth birthday, we wanted to do something REALLY special, so, without your knowing, we prepared a BIG surprise..."

But at one point, one of them does or says something wrong, and you hear the father, behind the camera, freak out, curse like a sailor, and after the wife apologizes excessively, and the bigger kids wipe the tears of the little ones, they go for take two.

"Hi daddy, this year, for your fortieth birthday..."

I continued to watch more of their videos. Now I know what the yellow Mormon service t-shirts look like. Also Jackson was sporting a shirt with "efy" on it, must be especially for youth.

I also feels like it is edited to seem more mainstream Christian rather than blatantly Mormon.

It is sickening. Instead of going to the ER for a potentially serious infection in the arm, the mother took her son to the bishop for a blessing.

Georgeous bunch of kids.

Couldn’t watch it to the end, though.

I must confess to being rabidly jealous that they have access to the beach.

Other than that, I won't be watching any more episodes, because I never liked watching ANYBODY's home movies.

Cranky old catnip.

One thing for sure, the mom is very savvy about monetizing home videos.
