WORSHIPING: No: I wouldn't saying anything I ever did in a temple ever felt like worshiping God. It merely felt like fulfilling an obligation to the ward, stake, or bishop. The closest I ever got to worshiping was sometimes praying when I got to the celestial room before getting shooed out by the matrons.
I find it telling that the article features interior photos of the recent [2016] CT temple, but none for the Salt Lake. Instead, there is a link to early 20th century interior shots.
Perfect for such an archaic organization!
