The cult survived the absolute determination of "The Book of Abraham" as demonstrable bullshit.
So I doubt it.
The current climate of not putting up with misogynistic abuse will almost certainly harm it.

It also survived Mormonism Unvailed, many people calling it out as false, and a host of terrible history of being a kingdom unto itself in a republic somewhat free from theocracy.
It has been marketable to humans its whole history and aggressive in that marketing.
It now appeals to a demographic of people wanting to preserve Victorian values indefinitely.

It will survive as long as there are people alive who were brainwashed as children and/or believe in things because of feelings and promptings and are willing to pass those ideas and promptings to their children. Some people just won't listen to reason and/or have too much invested in the cult with their culture and livlihood, etc.
As information erodes the Mormon corridor from the edges, maybe the numbers of those who feel compelled to be members for the sake of their personal business (realtors, insurance, investment advisors, etc) will decline.

The church doesn't give two shakes of a bat's behind about women.
They know women are a driving force in keeping their priesthood holder in line and will walk away from an apostate husband in a heartbeat and give themselves to another priesthood holder.
They know women have no power in the church. They know any uppity woman will be shunned by the masses and eventually exed no problem.
They know their power lies in the darkness. It lies in humiliation and shame programed into young girls to the point they'd never speak up even to save their lives.
Why else would they expend so much effort in controlling and conditioning the pre teen and teen girls before unleashing these same girls as adults to control and shame the next generation.
Until that cycle is broken the church will survive, relishing it's shadowy power behind a public shield of purity.
Look at the thousands of boys abused in scouting. No effect on the church. Same with worthiness interviews. A staple of mind control that will only go away if mandated by law.

I am hoping that something will take down both the LDS Church and the witch hunt that #metoo is becoming.People are being fired under some vague "zero tolerance" policy in the workplace where a conversation about sex Outside of the workplace occurred . No direct allegation of abuse, harassment,threats .Nothing . But now a person can be fired for a simple conversation or comment outside of the workplace .Now tell me that this is not a witch hunt.
