Ok I really hate the book of Mormon! It talks about how black skin is cursed, Native AMerican ate Jewish! And names and places that don't exist! When you ask the missionaries hard questions about it all you get is we don't know! Just pray about it, I skipped all the way to Enso because I hated reading it!I call it the book of nonsense and racism

You certainly have the right to not like the Book of Mormon in accordance to your agency and conscience. But what you nor anyone else cannot get away with is trying to minimize the doctrines we learn therein that make up what will always be called the "most correct book on earth" by all true believers. So what are some of these doctrines? Well for starts the matter of skin color is certainly a biggie. So often people get confused over what was meant regarding skin color when Kimball was church president in 1978. However with Benson as president we saw the BoM emphasized, which means more clarity about the eternal teachings about skin color. If Heavenly Father wasn't racist then that book would be condemned and shunned, especially after 1978. But since it's still revered then you know what the Lord's true doctrine, as taught by the Church, really is.

Relax, crazyhorse. "HonestTBM" is neither honest nor a TBM.
It's sarcasm.
Notice where he points out that god is racist...?
Smile. :)

This is all I got from the pathetic book of Mormon, black skin is cursed! Jews left Israel and moved to somewhere that doesn't exist in south America, lots of places and names that are hard to pronounce, old English and very boring

Reality: Very Little focus on Honesty or Kindness.

Reality: Claimed language Never Existed.

I remember reading that Joseph Smith senior had a prodigious memory. Could Brother Joseph have inherited that and made extensive use of it for plagiarism purposes when drafting the BoM? I have always thought this...

how anybody could wade through the horrific verbiage and boring story lines to read through the book. In my most TBM days, I tried. I really did. But I could never make it past Nephi II.

Brother Joseph wasn't much of a writer. With him, it was always about the cash and the chicks.

3500 instances of "and it came to pass". As Mark Twain said, "Chloroform in print".

1 Nephi

'21:26... And I will feed them that oppress thee with their own flesh; they shall be drunken with their own blood as with sweet wine; and all flesh shall know that I, the Lord, am thy Savior and thy Redeemer, the Mighty One of Jacob...'

Brother Joseph in kinda cranky form there...hangover? constipation? Who can say?

I am always impressed by how Nephi could hike about 125 miles in just a couple of days . Must have been the influence of his goodly parents .

My copy of the Book of Mormon has Charlatan stamped all over it, in fact I see it on every single page.

I suppose others see “the most correct and true book” in the world. What Stupidity! What Arrogance!
