Not one single bishop in 26 years came to court in support of a victim of assault. Not a single one.

Rob Porter is a typical Mormon wife abuser! The Mormon Church is full of them and covers it up or simply dismisses the claims as long as the abuser is paying his 10% plus to the Mormon Corporation!

it is NOT just a problem for the women.

My wife at the time went crazy. literally. she used stuff right out of the Pace report, THANKS A LOT for that LD$ INC!!!!! She attacked her parents. I should have divorced her then. Then her father died, so she focused her pathological animus onto me. I also objected to her turning our 14 year old daughter into the neighborhood tramp which was another outcome of her mental illness. She got mad and left. I filed for divorce. She filed for a Protective order to get back at me.

She got a Protective Order against me based on pure conjecture as in LIES. because P.O.s are handed out like taffy candy at a parade.

She had left the house. I was still in our house as my legally allowed and legally designated residence. My daughter came back into my neighborhood. to the house directly across the street where a boy lived that my daughter had been sexually involved with. She was 14. He was 18. technically speaking that is against the law. I called the police and asked them to have my daughter leave the area based on A, my interest in observing the existing Protective order, B, her illegal sexual involvement with the neighbor boy that was under investigation at the time. The officer agreed with me.

Then my wife's cop boy friend showed up, Ran off the first cop. Two days later I was arrested by the cop boyfriend for violating the PO based on a concocted story about what had supposedly happened.

I had seen my daughter through a window. I do not consider that making contact. The boy friend cops BS story completely fell apart in court. He should have been facing felony charges and lost his badge for falsifying a sworn police report. I have the documentation on that too.


In order to put me under his thumb, (some kind of authority trip for him) the MORmON judge convicted me of violating the PO anyway.

IF I had gone into my daughter's new neighborhood, then I understand why I would have been in violation. But here is the thing: THAT IS NOT WHAT HAPPENED. the "victim" can into my vicinity and then it was somehow my fault.

SO, then what happened? In sentencing the judge said that it would be a tragedy if the divorce that I filed for divorce went through. He was instructing me to NOT divorce! NOW WHY WOULD ANYONE DO THAT ????? You do not trust me around my own child, even though the apex of contact was seeing her through a window so you had to give me a criminal conviction, THEN you expect me to thrust myself back into that situation ? you instruct me to go back to the marriage? FOR WHAT? SO I can end up a convicted felon over nothing???? WHILE / SO you can feel good about posing yourself as a MORmON advocate of marriage and family?

I know it sounds unbelievable. I have a hard time believing it. BUT I HAVE THE VIDEO OF THE HEARING !!!!

In defiance of the judge's insanely stupid instructions to me, the divorce went through, I cut off all contact with my wife and with my (former) children to strictly adhere to the existing PO (that they just had to have), because it had been proven to me that any interaction with my former family was ONLY going to end up being another LOSING DEAL for me with such players involved.

I quit. EVERYTHING, marriage, parenting, and being a whipping boy for the system, and anyone else's demands that they felt entitled to impose on me, because I simply no longer had any capacity to deal with MORmON based idiocy, and my new priority was simply preserving ME. I can NOT be a parent IF I am destroyed as a person.

Here is the thing. IF that MORmON judge could be that stupid about my deal, then imagine if he is also a bishop!!! It is VERY EASY to imagine such an IDIOT also telling a battered woman to go back into a bad marriage.

here is something else: Lying nut cases like my ex detract from the valid concerns of women that suffer actual abuse !!!

I know that this sounds crazy too, but I would have LOVED IT IF ANY WOMENS RIGHTS GROUP WOULD HAVE PROTESTED THE JUDGE IN MY CASE because of his instruction to keep a marriage intact with a partner that he also felt should be convicted of a PO Violation. And FTR that is NOT my de facto admission of any wrong doing, I did nothing wrong!!! However, the judge was HORRIBLE IN MANY WAYS AND HE SHOULD HAVE BEEN CALLED OUT ON IT AT LEAST IN SOME WAY !!!

I hope that is a HUGE problem for LD$ inc !!!!!! They totally deserve it !!!!!!!!!!!!!

Doesn't surprise me and I'm female. I have said many times on this board that the lds church also abuses males. There are the very few holy and pure who are not abused. Once you get on the dark side of mormonism, it shocks you.

Having the priesthood is NOTHING. Who the hell cares about the priesthood?

The organization is just abusive and attracts narcissistic assholes.

I wonder if this could add a little traction to women being allowed in to the mormon clergy, priesthood, whatever.

An all male clergy has no check and balance from a woman's perspective.

Kind of like what happened in the Iceland Banks (I think it was Iceland). All the banks failed, except the one that was run by women. Some of the men bankers went to prison for taking risks that contributed to the downfall.

One thing is clear, women have no voice in mormonism. They need one!

In our society, women actually commit more abuse than men, but you rarely hear about it. Makes you wonder if it is any different in the church. Men are shamed if bring it up, "be a man", etc.
