Anyone know how many Tabernacles the church owns? Are they a thing of the past?

Besides Salt Lake I knew of ones in Ogden,Provo and Brigham City.

According to Wikipedia, there are was 79 tabernacles in Utah alone, but it doesn't say how many are left.

My parents were born and raised in American Fork, UT and there was a tabernacle on Main street for many years. I was in it as recently as the mid 80's for the baptism of a niece and I recall going there to a funeral, but don't remember whose it was. That would have been in the 70's I think.

I think that the tabernacle in Vernal, UT was repurposed and converted to the Vernal Temple, but I don't want to do to much searching for LDS stuff. I think that's like a virus you can get in your system!!

I believe there once was one in Rexburg but it was sold to the city. It was too old and needed much repair to pass code. I don't know if it was repaired or torn down.

St. George still has a tabernacle with an "all seeing eye" that looks at you from up behind the speaker.
