Recently a great favor was granted to me by a TBM relative who knows how feral I am about their faith. I feel to send them a Gift Card, so they might enjoy an unusual, memorable night out.

I lost the Holy Ghost decades ago, and have felt stupefied for a few days now. If there are any here who still have promptings that are undeniably right, please suggest a type of gift card I should send them.

Respecting their privacy, I will mention that they are over 60, living in a Utah city that starts with a 'T' and are former Vegans.

Have you any suggestions, say in the range of $60 to $100 range?

Thank you in advance. I'll let you know my decision if you'll be kind enough to ponder this matter in your hearts.

"Former" vegans?

Get 'em some meat, I say.

Outback steakhouse gift card, perhaps?
(not because it's so great...it's ok though...but because it's ubiquitous)

If you go the chain meat route, think of Texas Roadhouse. They’re everywhere and always packed. Pretty good food.

bobofitz,

The only gripe I have about Texas Raodhouse is that I just can't seem to order anything what's recommended by the damn buxom server. And the tip is always way too high. Damn girl. She works at almost every location.

I bought a nice couple a $100.00 gift card from Walmart as their wedding present.

Depending upon your budget and the seriousness of your message and the occasion, check out Lovepop greeting cards to accompany your monetary gift card. They're very pricey, but elaborate origami-like paper pop-ups, very artsy.

I googled "Vegan friendly chain restaurants" and some names that came up were P.F. Chang's, The Cheesecake Factory, Olive Garden, and the Kona Grill. There are others.

For former vegans....Rodizios in trolley square.

If the T is in Northern Utah how about Maddox in Brigham City?

A favorite eatery would be a good choice. Something you know they'll like.

A restaurant that serves both meat and vegan dishes gives them more options.
