Why haven't they issued a blanket Declaration of Innocence? Are they concerned that some actually were witches?

Well stated.

I do 2 or 3 burn piles on my property every year. Everytime I light one up I think to myself, "there's never a witch or a heretic around when you need one. Perfect waste of a good burn pile."

But I suppose if there were witches around, I'd have to install a ducking stool out back in the creek to keep up.

on a string of Christmas lights went out the whole string didn't work. So if you put a little bit of paper under a bulb it could drive your neighbor crazy trying to find the bad bulb.
