Also follow your doctor's orders to rest and take all the time you need to mend from the surgery.
Whatever treatment/s are planned for you will continue post surgery. Surgery is just one stage of the planning.
Even if you feel up to doing something you know that physically you shouldn't take on yet, listen to your inner man. Wait it out. That's one of the hardest things about post-surgery is wanting to take on more during recovery than you know you should until you're fully healed.
Take things slow at first. If there's radiation or chemo in your future you're going to need to conserve your energy for that.

well the surgery is over... Yay Chemo's not so bad except
of course your hair falls out and I mean all your hair falls out.
It does grow back though... just take it one day at a time,
and do what you have to do to get better and keep us posted
