Well it's official, if you are a mormon you believe that polygamy is correct and the way to godhood. No ifs, ands, or buts about it. Reading scriptures when you are more clear headed and more deprogrammed is pretty crazy. It sounds very strange and culty to read about plural wives as the new and everlasting covenant and becoming gods. They kind of forgot to mention this scripture in primary or sunday school. They omit so many things its crazy. Omission is worse than lying i think.

Yes that thought crossed my mind and is definitely in the thoughts of the men in that church and their behavior reflects it as well.

if I had to define one passage of LDS scripture explaining why I could not be a Mormon, it would be D&C 132.

One more time Mormons—for Christians, Jesus is the New and Everlasting Covenant—not polygamous marriage.

You would think the everlasting covanent would be jesus but not for those crazy bastards behind closed doors.
