I love and admire most elderly folks. Not the crabby kind. Not the boasters. Nor the mean. I like those for whom life has served as a burnishing tool, making them polished and smooth, in spite of the terrors and minefields of life.

Yep. There wonderful things about every age in life and that includes old age. It is amazing when you look back at things you went through and how much you have acomplished. I definitely like the old me. I'd marry myself if I could.

As I approach my 70th birthday in a few months I ponder several things....1. How TF did I get to be this old?
and
2. How do I make my life meaningful for however many years I have left without the love of my life to share it with me. Can't do a thing about the first question and the answer the number 2 is a work in progress.

My parents were uneducated and poor. But each were billionaires in the Departments of Love and Having Fun.

My dear mother taught me, (when I was six years old), to write down one thing I learned each day. I owe her for all of the detours I've taken. There's no greater love than that, sorry Jesus. Wonder and learning became my best companions, from an early start.

Today I learned so much! Like popcorn popping, truth is showing up by the moment now.

I started a long time ago... about the time I fled tscc, (as a teenager-20) ironically enough, when I first learned/ found I could. Then I was in a 'relay-shun-ship' and found RFM about 2011-2012 - and excommunicated the ldsC (resigned) - and more recently began "remembering" to do it more wholly and consistently and unconditionally.

It's easier to love yourself when you aren't around those who would but hate on you. Love grows on you. It flows on too. Freely!
