It has been about 5 years since I don't attend any more. I was remembering the middle 80s when I got baptized and all that I was taught.

Can some one tell me, what are the church's stands on the following statements from the 70's, 80's?

-We are the only true church upon the face of the earth.
-We are the only church with the authority to perform all the ordinances necessary to enter the kingdom of god and attain salvation. In other words, only with us you can be saved for sure.
-Joseph Smith translated the BoM from golden plates by the power of god.
-Jesus Christ came to America as a resurrected being.
-American Indians are descendants of the lamanites who are descendants of the house of Israel.
-The lamanites will flourish again and prosper in the dessert.
-Joseph Smith didn't practice polygamy.
-Only mormons will be able to become "like god".
-In the temple we receive the highest covenants. No temple, no salvation.
-Only those Church members who pay a full tithing can receive temple ordinances.
-Those who pay tithing will not be burned at His Second Coming.
-The second coming of the lord it's coming soon.

Are there any other strong statements from the 70s and 80s that you remember and that will probably change soon?

The only big change I can think of is that now the Lamanites are AMONG the ancestors of the native Americans and no longer the PRINCIPLE ancestors.

Joseph always practiced polygamy. It may not have been mentioned, but it was always an acknowledged fact.
