Meanwhile, a girl at a Minnesota music festival got her head stuck in a truck tailpipe.

Are folks in Minnesota all dumber than Mormons?

Oooops..., that is where the movie FARGO takes place - so maybe they are?

Yes, Fargo is in North Dakota. It is where the scene in the bar takes place. The rest of the movie is in Minnesota and the UP(yooper) accent is played to the hilt.

The Coen brothers are from Minnesota and the movie is a Black Comedy. Says based on a true story - which is fiction.

Minnehaha elected Jesse Ventura and Al Franken and gave the world Hubert Humphrey so it is suspect big time.

Not to mention the Minnehaha Vikings who knowingly hired a convicted child abuser as running back - Adrian Peterson. You have to be pretty damn sick to hire someone who beats a 5 year old to bleeding.

Must be something in the water there or maybe the people go batty trying to count to 10,000 lakes?

That raccoon was tenacious to say the least.

I like raccoons, and I admire both their intelligence and their devotion to their families and their community groups.

We used to have a several-dozen raccoon community who, a couple of times a year, would come through the successive backyards in the neighborhood I used to live in, swimming and bathing in the swimming pools, and eating what was available: fruit on the trees, etc.

These periodic "visits" became some of the all time best memories of my life.

I am immensely glad that the adventurous achievement of this particular raccoon turned out so well.
