Tecun Uman vs. Teancum - one is real and one is ficticious (links)

Tecun Uman was the last great leader of the Maya. This was a real person that has been documented to have actually lived on the earth and led the Maya. Curiously, we look in the BofM and we find a Nephite 'freedom fighter' named Teamcum. Boy aren't these two names/titles somewhat the same especially phonetically? Just say the two one after another and you'll be surprised how similar they are.

Of course the major difference between the two is that one actually lived on planet earth; the other lives in the pages of a book that has been proven to be a fraud time and time again. For more information see the following:
