No one can force anyone to read prior posts, but you run the risk of not learning from past mistakes if you don't ever review them. If someone suggests that I have posted anything that has been hurtful or otherwise pejorative, reading the old post can help me see if I think there is any merit to the accusation. It's sometimes about someone else besides me.
Go find the post where you said I had no right to be on RfM because I didn't grow up mormon and hadn't suffered like you.
Like having moremany slam my head into the floor 7 times after screaming I was going to die that night wasn't good enough for you.
All of this after his sleazy beast bleeding family had treated me like garbage for years.
They found me right as my husband was dying. Mormons are predators and after what I went through being told it wasn't good enough for you was pretty annoying.

Well i am sorry. Looks like we both went through some serious sh#t that was never resolved.
It's a good lesson to post while logged in, then you can edit stuff.
I posted as "nli" (not logged in), was trying to be complimentary to someone, and it came out all wrong. I actually had to "Report" myself, and Admin came to my rescue.
Edited to spell "complimentary" correctly.

Recently one of my posts was deleted, and I'm still scratching my head why. I thought I was being careful about the rules, and proofread it well. But it wasn't a very important post, so I'm not going to grumble about it. I just can't figure out sometimes, why something I post is deleted. Most of what I say is accepted, and it's a real mystery to me when something disappears.
If your post was responding to a post in the thread, and a post above you was hidden, then your post (if it was part of that queue) would be hidden, too.
Otherwise, your post would become an "orphan" post which makes no sense by itself, because whatever you were responding to has "disappeared" from view.
This happens to all of us--it certainly has happened to me during the last fifteen years. :)
EDITED TO ADD: I just went through the hidden posts from the last six days and there are no posts with your username which have been hidden.

I must apologize. I went on a hunt, and found my post on another page. I had checked before but somehow didn't see it. I'm sorry to have sent you searching.

The administration does a pretty good job here, but posts are sometimes deleted for what I consider arbitrary reasons. I don’t see it happen very often, but it has happened to me and a couple other people sometimes.
But I always try to remember, and have been guilty of forgetting is that this is a privately ran board that is free to act within its own self-created rules.
There are a couple of administrators here who I have only seen post very occasionally but do most of the administration, Which I find confusing. Kind of like a man behind the curtain kind of thing.

Thank you for your efforts to stay within the guidelines here.
The rules on RfM prohibit references of the kind you made in your two posts, so I must hide the posts you wrote, but I want you to know that your efforts to NOT go over the line here ARE appreciated.
