But the Mormon church actually does more than take selfies in cemeteries of loved ones. It takes dead people who hated the church and baptizes them - no social backlash at all.

The dead have to be special cases like Holocaust Victims for this crazy disrespect of the dead to matter in our society.

I find this thoroughly human. Slap religion on anything questionable surrounding the dead and it is A-Okay!

It's just that most of them aren't celebrities who post the pics to a large on-line audience...

Exactly, Hie. This has nothing to do with Mormonism. People used to sit or stand their dead relatives up and pose with them for pictures. We have taken pictures with headstones of those we love, miss, and will always feel a connection to. To be lighthearted and silly n a cemetery is not necessarily direspectful of the dead.
