Sithlord told me 6 years ago on June 27th that he didn’t believe in Mormonism. I didn’t even realize it until the next day. Things have changed a great deal since that day!

I finished graduate school in March. My thesis was entitled “My Journey With the Crone: Authoring an Identity Post Mormonism. I’m working full time as a child and family therapist. I work with adolescents at a secure residential facility, and I love it! I plan to specialize in religious trauma. I love being financially independent, which is something Mormonism steals from women.

Sithlord and I celebrated 28 years of marriage last January. Our fourth of five sons graduated high school this year. Our kids are growing up and leaving, and only the oldest is still Mormon, and only sort of.

Just thought I’d pop in and say “hi”. Ex Mormonism consumes less and less of my energy and occupies so little of my existence these days! Time for a happy hour tonight!!

It's great to see you.

I was wondering just the other day where you two were, how you were doing.

Everything sounds great!

Congratulations! Your story was so incredible. I remember reading it line by line with my jaw on the floor. Then having to wait and see what happened when you saw your son on his mission. What a time!

Thanks for updating us. And best wished to the entire family.

Religious trauma would be a honorable profession. They are very hard to find thought at least where I am at.

So great to get an update! Congratulations on your beautiful life outside of the cult. I followed your story and enjoyed your posts. I would love to read your thesis. Is there a way to allow that here on RFM?
