I'm surprised there is no "Pickle and The Postle" Book?

Two of my favorites are 'Tomas the Tank Engine and the Nazi Gold Train' and 'Peter Rabbit: Tank Hunter'.

My favorite catchy titles:

"Where the Wild Things Are."

And, "Everybody Poops."

I briefly dated a young lady with a colostomy bag. She prayed that one day she would be able to poop.

This book sends a terrible message to young kids. In the story, in order to belong to their club, you have to promise not to sin, "not even once." This message goes against everything Christ stood for: tolerance, inclusion, repentance, and forgiveness. This book teaches children to be exclusionary and that if a child sins, "even once," that they are somehow less than and aren't worthy of being friends with. This book should be retracted by the publisher."

I saw it when one of my sisters bought it for her kids. This book only goes to show that if you have friends who are important in the world of publishing, you can get anything published.

Is anyone that high up in Mormonism capable of satire? I think it filters out people with it.

The religion itself comes across as satire to someone who knows no better. Remember the South Park episode on Mormonism? It was classic south Park satire, yet the writers didn't have to deviate in the least from orthodox Mormonism.

Am I in the ballpark when I opine that obedience is the new orthodoxy?

That was huge to me. I had left but South Park really sunk those nails deep in my Mormonism's coffin.
