We have had several already this summer, last was for the 4th. Today it is only 88 with a feels like of 91 so not too bad.

Heading to the ball park to watch the Twins after work so glad I brought something else to change into. I would die in my work clothes.

Yep. 5th day in a row.
We set an all-time record (highest temp ever recorded) for my small home-town last Friday. Today is only around 93F or so, but still "excessive heat warning" until 9PM tonight.

Temp is up to 31 C (88 F). Not as brutal as last Friday when it hit 98 F here. Heat warnings now for southeastern Alberta and most of southern Saskatchewan. Hope this summer isn't a repeat of last year....that was a bit much.

A couple of days ago, it was 122 F where I live. I was rotating blocks of blue ice on top of the computer (plus the paper shredder, too) so the computer wouldn't burn out (which happened to us a few years ago, after we moved here).

Right now it is 97 F, and comparatively speaking, it feels near balmy.

We were well into triple digits in Phoenix last week. A couple of days above 110, with some spectacular winds and dust storms. They were picking up tree limbs all over town. I think it hit 115 in some places. Then came some thunderstorms that cooled it down a bit. Right now it's 92 on the back porch.

For past few weeks, it has been in the mid to high 90's here in Houston area and the Heat Index has been in the 105 to 110 F range. Just brutal.

Drinking gallons of water, but never peeing..... Just sweating it all out.

It's July in the Northern Hemisphere. Heat happens then.

It will be cold in January. There will be windchill warnings in the usual places.
