It seems to me that a long time ago, (a year or two) you had posted that your ex-wife was on vacation--I think in France--when some violence broke out. You were concerned with her getting home safely. What a wonderful trait--that you were concerned about your ex.
I hope you come back to RfM. Happy Birthday to a an admirable guy!
Thank you, thank you everyone! I have not gone away. I have been very busy lately. With seven grandchildren, you need to schedule time very closely.
This year, it will be more of a “birthweek”… I started yesterday, and will finish this weekend with my daughter and her family.
It may be true that “growing old is not for sissies”… But THIS sissie is enjoying at least the grandparenting aspects of being a senior citizen.
I was in Northern California last weekend for my niece’s wedding. While on the trip, I was able to visit and stay with WCG!
WCG is as amazing as ever! She is a wonderful hostess: in just one day she was able to squeeze in an entire city tour of her new town, which is DEFINITELY in wine country.
Some here might remember that my son escaped the clutches of the MBI (Mormon brainwashing Institute), along with his wife and four children. That happened about a year ago. I just love my “new relationship” with him and his family. It’s really amazing and remarkable that this has happened. If I were the praying sort, I would thank God every day for this “blessing.”
And now, they and I can raise a glass of real alcohol to celebrate the many milestones of our lives.
