I could easily be alone here, but I didn't understand (and still don't) why they made the first one! Now they have to compound the error and add Cher?

I think they're going for the Streisand demographic.

Yes, listening to Pierce Brosnan "sing" was painful, I must admit. But, I really liked the first movie and am looking forward to seeing this follow up one! Cher will be a hoot! She is 2 years older than Meryl Streep and playing her mother!

I love ABBA, when alone driving down the road I can listen to a CD and attempt to sing along....but never in public.
