I didn't know anything about this. Thanks for posting. He's a true community activist and the church is probably cringing. He (one guy) has far more influence than the church to the general public. I wonder if he is having a dialogue with church leaders? And are they listening? I wonder if we will ever see a day when the church co-sponsors that LoveLoud event with him.
I don't think the church understands the concept of a dialogue where two sides exchange views. If they gave him a chance to talk, they wouldn't actually be listening.
The church's definition of dialogue is, you sit and listen...

If you watch the HBO special (highly recommend) he did get a response and msg of support from LDS Inc for his Love Loud concert in Provo, which he plans on making an annual event. 2mo after the letter of support the Morgue doubled down on their "We hate gays and their babies" policy.
