Sorry to burst your bubble, but in the cassette/cd lectures by Truman Madsen (BYU religion professor and a favorite on the BYU Education Week Lecture Circuit) in his lectures on Joseph Smith, Madsen stated that JS taught that our domestic pets will be resurrected with us to whatever degree in the hereafter we attain.
But, then again, that was what con man Joe Smith said -- you know the guy who couldn't remember seeing God and Jesus floating in the air in 1820 when he said in 1834 in the church history that he was praying in 1823 when the angel appeared for the all important information of the existence of a supreme being.
However, since becoming mobility-impaired, I don't find libraries as user-friendly as they used to be.
And my eyes have gotten weird, too. Despite getting new glasses, I find that each eye sends a different message to my brain. So I have to put a patch over one eye or the other.
I recently downloaded some library books to my Kindle (a new skill, yay!) When I was perusing the library's selection of book formats, I noticed that the audio books were even more popular than the print books. You are not alone!
