Hamilton NZ Temple closes for renovation

And with computer rendered pics of what insides will look like after renovation is complete in 2021. Big open house to-do set for that time also.

Seems like it. Temples are their main attraction now. Gives local leadership a chance to get the local members worked up about a project (it's always a big project, often stake centers get turned into temporary visitor centers to show the introductory movie) and remind them of how important it is to pay tithing. It gives the mishies a ton of new leads to work on.

Maybe they even reel in a few newbies until the newbies decide it's too much work to qualify to get into the temple and end up going inactive.
