I'd like to invite all the Phoenix area rfm-ers to attend a vigil for Sam Young and his cause. We'll gather on the sidewalk in front of the Mesa temple from 3 until about 5.

I still have signs from the march we did in March. I met Shummy then. I'd love to meet more of you. I look like church lady and I'll be near a wagon with signs and cold water to share.


I think, why, 13 years out, do I care about this cause? It's because kids only get one childhood. Let's protect them.

I don't think he should be disciplined, it's sad church leaders didn't come out to find out what was wrong and have a dialog. That's what this world really needs is more people talking and sharing ideas with each other. A hunger strike should be enough to warrant a conversation. And to find a resolution. But no mormondom isn't interested in this former bishop.

As far as I can tell, most of the folks coming to the vigil will be from our local very ex-Mormon group.

Should make for a very fun and irreverent time.
